Since 2014, we have diverted 500 million pounds of new recyclables from landfills, saved 968 million gallons of water, avoided more than 500,000 metric tons of greenhouse gases and driven significant reductions in targeted contamination rates.

Recycle Florida Today (RFT) is Florida’s state recycling organization and the premier association representing recycling and environmental professionals throughout Florida from the public, private and nonprofit sectors. RFT was formed to be a driving force to help Florida implement its recycling goals and objectives. RFT continues to provide educational and networking opportunities in the world of recycling for all Floridians as well as support to local and state elected officials as they consider laws and regulations affecting the recycling industry.
