Sheraton New Orleans
Secure hotel reservations at the Sheraton New Orleans located at 500 Canal St. by August 5, 2019 or before the room block is sold out to receive the discounted conference rate of $145 plus taxes for single/double occupancy. Hotel reservations can be made by clicking the button below or by calling reservations at 888-627-7033. Government attendees will need to show government ID and receive the prevailing government per diem at time of check-in.
Food and Drink
Inspired by cajun flavors Roux Bistro located on the second floor and is open for breakfast and lunch. Sample specialty cocktails and lite bites at the Pelican Bar located on the first floor. Starbucks and Sundry Convenience Store are also located on the first floor. Room services is also available.
FedEx Office is located on the first floor of the hotel back behind the elevator banks.
Fitness Center and Pool
The fitness center and outdoor pool are located on the eighth floor. The fitness center is open 24 hours / 7 days a week and features cardio machines and free weights. The outdoor pool is open 6:30 am - 10:00 pm daily weather permitted.
Valet parking is available for $46 plus taxes per day for standard size vehicles.
At the Conference
You can pick up your name badge and conference program at the conference registration desks located in the Napoleon Ballroom Foyer on the 3rd Floor. Conference registration will be open the following times:
Monday, August 26 from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Tuesday, August 27 from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday, August 28 from 7:30 am - 1:00 pm
Wear Your Name Badge
Your name badge is your admission to all elements of the conference, including conference sessions, exhibit hall and meal functions.
Special Dietary Needs
You may make dietary restriction requests (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, kosher and/or allergies) on your conference registration form or by contacting the registration coordinator at 503-233-1305 x115 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
On-Site Materials Recovery Program
Materials recovery opportunities will be provided throughout the conference, including recycling bins located in the exhibit hall and session ballrooms.
Store your bags with the conference luggage concierge any time between 7:30 am - 3:00 pm on Wednesday, August 28 in Poydras located on the 3rd Floor.

Juan’s Flying Burrito
Taxicab booths are located on the first level of the Terminal outside of Baggage Claim Belts 1 and 14.
Taxi rides cost $36.00 from the airport to the Sheraton New Orleans for up to two (2) passengers. For three (3) or more passengers, the fare will be $15.00 per passenger. Taxis are required accept credit card payments.
Shuttle service is available from the airport to hotels and various other locations in the New Orleans for $24.00 (per person, one-way) or $44.00 (per person, round-trip). These fares include three (3) bags per person. Additional baggage may be subject to additional fees. Passengers can purchase tickets at the Airport at Airport Shuttle ticket booths located on the first level throughout the Baggage Claim area.
Uber and Lyft
Passengers can meet their app-based ride service outside of the Ground Transportation Center located on the first floor of the Short-Term Parking Garage by crossing the pedestrian crosswalk located outside of Baggage Claim 6.
New Consolidated Rental Car Facility is now open. To get there, walk to the West Terminal Baggage Claim (Claims 12-14) and proceed outside the building. To your right is a covered walkway leading to the customer service building. Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Payless and Thrifty all have service counters available.
What to Pack
Recommended conference attire is business casual. Hotel ballrooms and meeting rooms are often kept on the cooler temperature, and the exhibit hall can become warm with many visitors. We suggest packing layers to keep you comfortable throughout the day.
Complimentary internet kiosks will be available in the in the Napoleon Ballroom to quickly check emails. NRC members may use the internet kiosks on Monday, August 26 to vote for board members.

Complimentary charging stations will be available in the "Networking Lounge" located inside the exhibit hall.
